More to Me

i just had the first stanza pop into my head and thought i would sign in and just run with it. this is what i came up with. pretty stoked. it's about the simple actions we wish for or don't want and how at the end of the day they do not define us. who are are is irrelivant, what we do is important, how you do it is what people remember.

i want to live,
i don't want to die,

i want to love,
i want to be loved,
i know there's more
more to me

i want to sleep,
i don't want to wake,
i know there's more
more to me

i want to play,
i envy the free,
i know there's more
more to me

i want to cry,
i won't say why,
i know there's more
more to me

it's not who you are,
it's what you do,
i know there's more
more to me
